Job Description

Sonora Behavioral Health is Arizona's largest inpatient psychiatric hospital. We provide stabilization treatment of mental health and chemical dependency issues affecting children, adolescents, adults and active duty military personnel. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and committed to providing superior quality care.

Sonora Behavioral Health has an immediate need for a Business Development Representative to develop and implement strategic, data-driven account management plans that support the hospital market plan.
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Business Development Representative to join our top-notch team.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Professional will develop and implement strategic, data-driven account management plans that support the hospital market plan. Cultivates and maintains reciprocal relationships with community professionals, behavioral health service providers and agencies, hospitals, payors, and other referral sources. Markets and sells the hospitals healthcare service lines and stays abreast of marketplace changes and trends. Demonstrates superior customer service standards internally and externally. Attends, coordinates, and participates in educational seminars related to mental health, mental illness and chemical dependency issues for children, adolescents, adults and older adults to school professionals, healthcare and clinical professionals, and community and governmental agencies. Maintains documentation associated with account management activities. Identifies and develops new referral contacts that produce admissions. Directly reports to the Director of Business Development and works closely with the Director of Admissions to achieve and maintain census targets. Reports on sales activities, referrals, and admissions weekly. The Business Development Professionals performance will be measured against admissions goals, associated activity, and updates on the competitive environment with the ability to critically evaluate and strategize around potential growth areas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a marketing, sales, or business administration, or related field. Experience must include two years of healthcare business development with demonstrated growth results required. Knowledge of behavioral treatment principles preferred.
