Business Liaison / Project Manager - Specialty Reporting

Job Description
In this Advisor - Business Analyst role you will be a subject matter expert (SME) in the Specialty Reporting Team by serving as a lead liaison between the CVS Health Specialty operational business/IT community and the Reporting team. You will be responsible for providing advice on and presenting technical reporting metric specifications to meet business needs, as well as assisting with process redesign and documentation for new reporting technologies while ensuring strategic alignment to Specialty organizational goals, best business practices and business alignment.

As a leader, you will drive, identify, and plan business and operational tasks, as well as the scope, constraints, and dependencies of the tasks in projects drive actionable and value-added reports and visualization tools. In this role, you will be handling end-to-end requirements ownership associated with projects and project planning for the Specialty Operational area. This includes reviewing test plans, results, and the resolution of test incidents.

Additional responsibilities of the Business Analyst include:
* Be engaged at the initiation of Specialty/SPRx organizational projects to ensure impact, gaps, and risks that would need reporting engagement to our leadership group
* Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and use effective judgment in prioritization and time allocation with little guidance
* Lead the creating, maintaining, and managing project plans/schedules, ensuring efficiency in planned tasks and resource assignments
* Ability to work across boundaries and collaborate with internal colleagues and external business clients and partners.
* As a SME around business and data driven projects; share and drive the offload of knowledge with team members
* Working with Technology and Business teams, as well as the relevant functional managers to ensure projects adhere to the project scope and to the Specialty reporting development standards
* Analyzing parameters including costs, timelines, technical functions, benefits and risks of projects, ad-hoc request and overall reporting quality Identifying ways to improve request planning, execution, communication, and monitoring processes
* Engaging and driving business owners to address and resolve project risk or issues
An ideal candidate can lead projects, analyze complex database tables and files, and define and provide assistance to resolve reporting issues.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of related Pharmacy Operational Business Analyst experience or Project Management experience working within a Technical/Reporting Team Development environment or a PBM or IT business environment, managing projects, ad-hoc requests, and issues

Preferred Qualifications
* PMP Certification (Project Management)
* Power Point - Executive level presentations
* Understand business process improvement, project management and quality practices
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Software Development Life Cycle process experience and knowledge to insure the delivery of a quality reporting application with the appropriate documentations and on-going support
* Ability to be a mentor to less experienced Business Analyst and team members to drive compliance for best practices, methods, standards, and processes
* Prior experience with PBM services, insurance, or healthcare
* Understanding of functionality Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with tight timeframes
* Understanding of functionality business analytics software such as Tableau
Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from PBM Business Partners

Education
* Bachelor Degree in a business, technical, or analytic field e.g., computer programming, computer science, statistics, or public health; or equivilent work experience
