CAD Production Designer

CAD Production Designer w/ Tiffany & Co. (Pelham, NY). Translate Dsgn Concepts into reality. Plan, create, dvlp, & maintain 3D Finished Goods Level CAD (3D FG WIP, or 3D Soft Prototype CAD) models for new products, existing products (reverse engg), line extensions, & custom jewelry. Reqs Bachelor's deg or foreign equiv in Industrial Dsgn, Metals & Jewelry Dsgn or a closely rltd field & 2 yrs exp as a CAD Production Designer, CAD Jewelry Designer, or rltd job/role/occupation. (Employer will accept Master's deg or foreign equiv in Industrial Dsgn, Metals & Jewelry Dsgn or a closely rltd field in lieu of Bachelor's deg & 2 yrs prof'l exp.) Must have exp or training: Performing 2D drafting & 3D modeling; Building, repairing, & troubleshooting metalsmithing/materials mfg processes while maintaining dsgn integrity; & Utilizing Rhino, Modo, SolidWorks, T-Splines, Z-Brush, Adobe CS, KeyShot, V-Ray, & Maxwell. Must have exp or training exp working w/ diverse materials, incl woods, ceramics, & rubber, as well as gemstones & diamonds. Salary range: $74,000-100,000.
