Call Center Agent

 

  

 

Work Location: Yuma, AZ 

 

 

 

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS 

 

  

 

Interact by making outbound phone calls to parents to communicate ASU’s interest in collaborating
with their children’s school on the American Dream Academy and other related
programs. The job will require soliciting parents to attend a free program
offered by their child’s school which includes an information seminar, and to
remind parents that they have committed to attending this and future events.  

 

  

 

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

 

 

 

* High school diploma or equivalent 

 

* Proficient in relevant computer applications and call center systems, including Five9 

 

* Good typing skills 

 

* Knowledge of sales principles and methods 

 

* Required to speak fluent Spanish 

 

* Parent Graduate from any American Dream Academy program 

 

* Ability to sit for long periods of time 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMPETENCIES  

 

  

 

* Contact private individuals by phone
(outbound calls)  

 

* Deliver
prepared scripts to persuade potential attendees to commit to attending the
introductory session of the American Dream Academy, and potentially other ASU
related events  

 

* Describe the program and its benefits  

 

* Respond to questions  

 

* Identify and overcome objections  

 

* Take the customer through the "sales"
process  

 

* Obtain any additional customer
information required for pre-registration  

 

* Follow up with parents in accordance
to their needs  

 

* Complete records of telephonic
interactions, in order to track individual results
