The Salvation Army in Prescott is looking to fill a Case Manager Position. The successful candidate for this position will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and be able to maintain a pleasant demeanor around clients, staff & volunteers. This position is benefit eligible and comes with vacation, sick, health, vision, life insurance, and more. 

The Case Worker will assist clients with all services and share information available through the TSA Prescott Corps Social Services office. This position will interview clients and determine eligibility for programs. The CW will provide clients with material services such as choice pantry/food boxes, household & hygiene items, clothing & other vouchers, utility assistance, emergency shelter vouchers, medical prescription assistance & other free services available at the corps. This employee will assist in seasonal programs such as summer camp, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to follow directions
• Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license and be able to satisfactorily complete The Salvation Army’s Fleet Safety Program
• Maintain a valid food handler’s certificate & obtain a Yavapai County Health Department Kitchen Manager’s certificate within 120 days of hire.
• General working knowledge of The Salvation Army (TSA) policies & procedures
• Experience in procedures for the following programs: DES Assistance, Project SHARE, vouchers
• Ability to train, supervise, & work with assigned volunteers
• Must be proficient in the use of computer applications such as current Windows Professional & MS Office software
• Must have a working knowledge of available community resources
• Must be able to maintain a pleasant demeanor around clients, staff, & volunteers
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
