Location: City Heights

Hours of Work: T.B.D.

Status/ Hours: Exempt


The Certified Community Behavioral Health Manager (CCBHM) is responsible for the smooth functioning of the CCBHC clinics. The CCBHM manages non


clinical staff that provides direct services to patients who are receiving behavioral health treatment. The CCBHM plans and coordinated the day




day operations of the Unit and consistently monitors and tracks subordinates

performance, as well as

conducts performance evaluations. The CCBHM will participate in special projects, such as community program development, community relationship


building activities, and other types of project manage-


Manage daily operations of the CCBHM clinics as appropriate


implement and update policies and procedures to ensure smooth functioning of behavioral health clinics

and make sure that staff knows, understands and adheres to them.


Prepare monthly written and statistical reports to present to the Medical Director.


Manage the logistical needs of the various clinics when appropriate.


Supervise and evaluate Non


Clinical Staff.


Participate in the development of the department budget in conjunction with the financial goals and

objectives to ensure financial goals are met timely and effectively.


Establishes staff schedules, allocation of staff.


Trains and rotates office staff through various office duties to ensure cross coverage in all job areas


Assesses staff performance and prepares all performance appraisals as well manage and approve time



Makes sure screenings are done in a timely and HIPAA compliant manner.


Compliance with all regulations regarding corporate integrity and security obligations as well as

maintaining privacy of all patients.

Job Requirements:


Bachelors in Business Administration or Mental Health Master

s degree in Behavioral Healthcare (MPH/MB/MFT/LCSW or PhD) preferred


5 years

experience managing a department of non


clinical staff. Excellent leadership & or-

ganizational skills. Must have a working knowledge of clinic operations, social services and community resources. Ability to interact well across departments and clinics. Good judgement and decision making ability. Effective verbal, written communication & negotiation skills. Proficiency with computer applications: Microsoft (Word & Excel). Excellent leadership & organizational skills. Excellent presentation skills.
