One of our clients is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist/ Certified Recovery Specialist to provide services in the greater Philadelphia area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide Supportive Services to help individuals struggling with substances abuse and cooccuring disorders.
* Enhance the treatment experience through clinical, operational, and other duties as assigned by site supervisor.
* Deliver therapeutic services and maintain clinical documentation.
* Community Outreach and facility.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
* High School or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred. CPS or CRS certification preferred.
* Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and cooccuring disorders preferably in treatment, mentoring, or coaching.
* Knowledge of recovery principles including the 12 steps.
* Valid Driver's License
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Must be able to produce valid medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR, and First Aid certification
* Licensed counselor (preferred)
