Job Preview at a Glance:
The Clinical Psychologist is an exciting position where no one day is the same! This staff member delivers solution-focused and strength-based services to a caseload of members that are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Clinical Psychologist provides diagnostic testing, intakes, assessments, treatment planning and 1:1/family psychological support.
Location and Schedule:
The role is at the Mesa and Metro locations, 3 days at one location and 2 days at the other location. Staff provide services Monday through Friday, during standard business hours. Clinical Psychologists do not work weekends, evenings or holidays.
Salary:
The Clinical Psychologist starts at $75,000/ annually. After 30 days of their employment, the staff will be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on incentive. After 6 months of their employment, the new employee will be eligible for an additional $1,000 retention incentive.
Support:
The Clinical Psychologist report to a Licensed Clinical Program Director and Coordinator, and also have expert Leads for additional mentorship. Staff receive free 1:1 clinical supervision, and are a part of a supportive interdisciplinary team which meets bi-weekly. This position is invited to an array of on-going, in-house education opportunities regarding cultural competency and modality building skills. Additionally, staff can receive tuition and certification reimbursement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide intakes, clinical assessment and psychological testing.
- Develop treatment plans in conjunction with team members.
- Provide therapy and/or clinical case management for a full caseload of members.
- Conduct ADOS testing/comprehensive evaluations for members with Autism concerns.
- Complete required documentation in accordance with SBH standards.
- Provide clinical supervision to doctoral level psychology students.
- Supervise and sign off on completed assessments and intakes as a Clinical Liaison.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology
- 1 year of full-time behavioral health experience preferred
- Independently licensed by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
- Level I fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire (as required per program requirements)
