We are looking for an energetic, results oriented individual to be part of the Payroll team. This role requires a detailed oriented, highly organized, and confidential individual who meets strict deadlines and processing requirements.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Lead Bi-weekly Confidential payroll processing including:
o New hires/terminations
o Approve all one-time payments and compensation changes
o Process benefit adjustments
o Process LOA adjustments
o Load compensation and bonus EIBs
o Run audit reports
o Complete payroll reconciliations
o Settle payroll
· Support the Compensation Team during periodic salary and bonus processes in March, June, and December
· Support the LOA Team with configuration and ongoing administration of multiple company and jurisdictional leave programs
· Support the Benefits Team by partnering on data reporting
· Monitor various Workday alerts
· Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for HR leadership and Finance, including:
o Time/Status/Headcount reporting
o Registers
o Bank reconciliation
o Cost allocation (including bonus, fringe, and relocation)
o Benefit withholdings and Retirement basis
o Jurisdictional reporting
· Respond to executive, manager and employee level questions and ad hoc reports
· Assist with audits as needed
· Assist and track year-end processes and steps to ensure timely processing
· Act as backup to Senior Payroll Manager and Tax Administrator
Qualifications
· 5+ years of payroll experience including team/group supervision
· Workday payroll experience (including report writing)
· General human resource knowledge
· Bachelor’s degree or related discipline
Competencies
· Exceptional attention to detail and insistence on accuracy
· Ability to process large amounts of data and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
· High proficiency with Excel
· Ability to maintain and secure confidential information
· High mathematical aptitude
· Strong research techniques
· Self-starter, results oriented team player
· Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
