Job Description
Willow Creek Dental Practice, a Great Expressions Dental Center, is now hiring a full-time Dental Hygienist in Canton, MI.

Responsibilities:
• Perform oral healthcare and risk assessments by evaluating a patient's current health status, including all medications.
• Perform extraoral and intraoral examinations and oral cancer screenings.
• Complete a comprehensive dental and periodontal charting that includes a detailed description and evaluation of the gingiva and periodontium.
• Expose, process, and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Counsel and coordinate tobacco cessation programs.
• Educate patients on the importance of good nutrition for maintaining optimal oral health.
Qualifications:
• Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
• X-Ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify, otherwise preferred
• Anesthesia license preferred
