Job Description:

McDonalds has set an ambition to become a Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement leader. To make this happen, we are standing up a new Global Indirect Sourcing and Procurement Organization (IS&P). This organization will help McDonalds to better leverage our scale and unlock sustainable value for our company and communities. We are transforming our Indirect Sourcing and Procurement capabilities, processes, solutions, and ways of working to create One McDonalds Way of buying Indirect goods and services responsibly.

This role presents an exceptional career opportunity to be a part of this journey as the Continuous Improvement Lead. The primary focus of this role is to lead the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of global processes and supporting technologies across the Source-to-Invoice (S2I) lifecycle.

The Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, building and managing a long-term roadmap, and defining success metrics for process and technology improvements. This includes overseeing the design and execution of process enhancements and digital initiatives consistent with best practices while supporting the unique needs of the business. It is expected that this role works closely within the IS&P function and broader business stakeholders to understand their requirements, continuously gathering feedback and innovating against leading practices and business nuances. This role will lead a global team composed of process capability owners and product capability owners, ensuring that responsibilities are appropriately distributed based on business priorities and team capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Global Process Ownership (GPL) and Functional Solutions team to establish and drive global strategic initiatives and continuous improvements across the entire source-to-invoice process
  • Define the end-to-end process and technology strategy, and translate it into clear operational objectives, performance targets and roadmaps
  • Serve as the Product Owner / expert and govern the products & platforms to drive enhancements, harmonize data and ensure scalability of systems (e.g., less customization) to drive a "One McDonalds Way"
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Indirect Sourcing & Procurement (IS&P) team, positioned as a partner to the business between key, IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements and embed new processes into system requirements. Prioritize enhancements / upgrades based on factors like business value, risk, and resources.
  • Lead regular reviews of the S2P and CLM solutions and their ability to meet Procurement, Finance, Legal, and business needs and facilitate effective and efficient processes.
  • Develop prioritized pipeline of process improvements (e.g. operating model, tools & technology, etc.) and work with GPL functional teams to quantify the value and investment required
  • Identify team training and growth opportunities to elevate best-in-class status

The expected salary range for this role is $168,350 - $218,860 per year

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-year degree, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with Business or Supply Chain background, preferably in a Global landscape
  • 3+ years experience leading teams and managing multiple projects
  • Experience in conducting influential discussions with executive leaders
  • Skills: Strategic Thinking, Executive Presence / Communications, Stakeholder Management, Mentoring and Coaching, Project Management
