Job Description

Position Summary:

The Director of Product Management for Investment Solutions is responsible for the growth and management of a portfolio of products, primarily Collective Investment Trusts. Responsibilities include product development, product management, product governance and business management for all stable value and CIT products in the US, along with other liquidity offerings. Success will ultimately be measured by the increased standing of Matrix as a preferred discretionary trustee and asset manager within the retirement provider community, in support of growing CIT assets and cash balances on the platform.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participating member of the CIF Committee reporting into the Matrix Trust Company Board of Trustees
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for a suite of current and future Stable Value/CIT products and capabilities that span multiple markets, channels, and product structures
  • Assess product and pricing market data and collaborates with Sales team members on product pricing
  • Develop product strategies and plans to support accelerated organic growth of the Matrix Collective Investment Trust business in the retirement space
  • Expand our CIT market share via winning solutions and in conjunction with potential acquisition targets
  • Define and deliver on the product roadmap for all product, legal and digital enhancements required to enhance Matrixs sub-advisor user experience and onboarding process flow for the CITs
  • Support the development and maintenance of CIT product informational materials; evangelize and present the CIT product offering to key clients and industry players; manage thought leadership programs in support of the CIT offering
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our current products, client base, target sectors, competitors and other important players in the industry
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retirement experience or expertise in the context of cash and unitized investment offerings, primarily Collective Investment Trusts
  • The Candidate should have a strong understanding of the current asset management trends and challenges specific to the retirement industry

Skills/Competencies:

  • Ability to build solid Sub-Advisor relationships to understand current and future needs
  • Investment acumen, including sound knowledge of asset management theories and fiduciary practices
  • Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills (verbal & written), and a team player is a must
  • A resourceful self-starter who is comfortable interacting and coordinating with numerous internal and external partners
  • Ability to think strategically and have strong influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results

Requirements:

  • College degree required; CIMA or CFA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience leading the successful development and roll-out of new and enhanced investment products
  • Successful track record of innovation and creativity in developing investment product strategies and roadmaps
  • Position can be based in Phoenix, Denver or other Broadridge locations
  • Available for travel to existing CIT sub-advisors, prospective partners and industry influencers

Additional Information

Salary: $85,700.00 - 156,900.00 USD Annual

This position is bonus eligible.
