Reports to: Early Learning Center Director or the Family and Consumer Science Department Chair
Term: 9 months position
Full time: 40 hours per week

Position Summary: Develops and implements activity or lesson plans which provide an opportunity for each child to gain a positive self-concept, develop social skills; think and reason; question and experiment; acquire language skills; develop physical coordination skills, good health safety and nutritional habits; express creativity; learn to respect cultural diversity of staff and other children.

Training and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must possess valid Department of Health Services (DHS) fingerprint clearance card for Child Care Employees and Volunteers (ARS 36-883.02)
• 21 years of age.
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
• Participates in 18 hours of in service training related to Early Childhood Education during each fiscal year.
