Rotating Shifts & Nocturnist

Tucson Medical Center in partnership with IES, Integrative Emergency Services, an independent physician-owned practice management group is currently recruiting for a physician in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will be BC/BE Emergency Medicine physicians with the ability to work full-time or part-time positions at Tucson Medical Center on day/evening shifts or as a dedicated Nocturnist.

Emergency Department Information:

Separate Adult & Pediatric Emergency Departments & Clinical Decision Unit

• Volume: 72,500
• Admission Rate: 32%
• Patients/Hour: 1.7
• Physician Coverage: 69 hrs daily
• APP Coverage: 50 hrs daily
• EMR: EPIC
• Dictation: Powerscribe
• Scribes: Optional (provider pays for their own scribe)

• PED Beds: 16
• ED Beds: 60
• CDU Beds: 18
• Shifts: 9 hours day/evening; 9 or 10 hours night

Required Qualifications:

• Board eligible or board certified Emergency Medicine physician (ABEM or ABOEM)
• AZ medical license
• DEA certificate
