Job Description

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks to hire an associate with a minimum of three years' relevant experience (as described below) to join its vibrant New York and national employment law practice. Substantial prior employment litigation experience is required, as is a broad understanding of federal and New York employment laws and regulations. The associates practice will include employment litigation defense, including single plaintiff and class action matters, as well as defense of arbitrations and administrative agency matters, and will also include counseling clients on a broad range of employment law issues; drafting and reviewing workplace policies and employee handbooks; drafting employment agreements and related documents; advising on wage/hour issues, leave of absences, and requests for accommodation; and conducting investigations. Prior professional exposure to at least some of these areas is required.

The candidate must be a member or pending member of the New York State Bar.
