Environmental Manager

OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY

The Clerk provides general clerical support to the Program Director, Administration, and Programmatic Departments as needed.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Work irregular shifts, irregular days and be available when required to transport the service population to assigned destinations including emergency evacuations, medical/dental appointments, court hearings, etc.
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system and be able to locate and retrieve information from files as directed.
  • Manage program administration using the CPLC requisition system including tracking of receipts and invoices; vendor contact information and contractor and supplier files.
  • Generate general correspondence, memorandums and department records.
  • Record and maintain departmental and facility reports for the Program Director as requested.
  • Meet all pre-determined deadlines required by program and federal partners.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
  • A combination of one of the following:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity providing leadership to maintenance personnel
  • (5) years' experience in construction, maintenance, custodial and facilities management.
  • Formal maintenance training.
    • Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License and be eligible to drive.
    • Some Travel may be required
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to site maintenance.
    • Must be capable of working extended shifts, including after-hours.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize duties and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision making.
    • Ability to be socially perceptive and maintain sensitivity to the service population's cultural, political, and socio-economic characteristics.
    • Ability to work independently and organize and prioritize duties and responsibilities.
