Job Summary

This position will be responsible for the Janitorial & Custodial maintenance, and support of the Main Campus Buildings & Facilities as needs arise throughout the business day. The primary site(s) will be the Maryland Pkwy Nevada Office. May assist with other property maintenance as directed by office management as needed. Works under the direction of the office Operations Director or a designated manager in planning work, identifying building sanitation services, and developing a schedule of duties. Duties may fall into the following areas; general internal office cleaning and waste removal, exterior perimeter waste removal, and light building repairs that do not require extensive licensing and/or certifications.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have reliable, dependable transportation
  • Must have current vehicle insurance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Basic understanding of janitorial and custodian services

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Perform several daily cleaning duties, which include:
  • Drywall repair & repainting as needed
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Dusting furniture and equipment
  • Emptying trash bins
  • Tidying office space (cupboards, refrigerator, countertops, and other appliances) and bathroom facilities.
  • Small facility tasks are directed by the manager and office needs.
  • Cleaning glass windows/panes, walls, and doors
  • "Spot" Cleaning, basic janitorial & custodial jobs will be handled by this position, as incidents occur throughout the day.
  • Provide Building perimeter trash clean-up daily or as needed.
  • Open and close the building daily and ensure equipment & lighting are switched off, where applicable, at the end of the workday.
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing time and prioritizing workload.
