Key Purpose
A forklift operator performs tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. The operator might load trucks, unload trucks or be asked to supply production areas with product or remove recycle goods to a storage area. The forklift operator may be responsible for inspecting lifts before use and participating in training sessions for license renewal.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence
- Support the team, and report to the Key Account Manager
- Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required
Ideal Candidate Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 1+ experience driving heavy equipment or forklift
- Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment
- Follows direction and instructions as directed by supervisor
- Must comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures. Hold yourself and your co-workers accountable for performing work safely.
Key Accountabilities
- Moving controls, devices, and levers to drive forklifts of industry to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas.
- Organizing and securing stored materials such as bales, super sacks, boxes, pallets.
- Loading or unloading materials manually, off, or on to pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
- Performing routine post and pre inspections to ensure suitable working nature or forklift equipment.
- Weighing products or materials and recording weight and further production information on labels and tags.
- Wrapping material loads with a wrapper and making clean the warehouse premises.
- Performs related work as assigned.
