Job Title: General Cashier-Payroll Clerk

Department: Accounting

Company: Dimension Development

Reports To: Director of Finance

Supervises: N/A

Job Description Date: November 27, 2017

Job Purpose: Manage cashier banks and payroll processes

Job Responsibilities:
1. Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
2. Record, store, and/or analyze computerized financial and payroll information.
3. Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
4. Maintain, update, create, secure, and archive employee payroll records and files.
5. Review, verify, and reconcile punches, hours worked, pay adjustments, and other pay-related information, and post information onto designated records.
6. Back up transaction files and transmit to payroll system according to company procedures.
7. Process and/or issue employee paychecks and statements of earnings and deductions.
8. Compute employee wages and deductions and enter wages and deductions into payroll system.
9. Provide information to managers/supervisors on payroll matters.
10. Complete batch adjustments to payroll
11. Adjust basic settings in time clock system and correct punches.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:
1. Clear and professional communication; appropriate telephone etiquette.
2. Previous payroll experience.
3. Proficiency in various computer systems.

Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities.

Education 2-year degree minimum requirement.

Experience 2 years of experience in payroll and cash handling required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to speak and hear. Close and distance vision. Frequent sitting with some walking and standing. Frequently lifts/carries up to 10 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

Working Conditions: Continually works in normal office conditions and in close proximity to others.
