Job Description

Serves as subject matter expert and primary point of contact addressing supply chain related inquiries from our restaurant operations. Primary role is to support restaurant Kitchen Managers, Partners, JVPs, RVPs and Food Techs. Work closely with Procurement, Quality Assurance and R&D departments to communicate clearly and concisely to the field in regards to day to day operations, food product procedures and quality concerns. Track food quality issues in the field and work with suppliers on any necessary corrective actions. Coordinate core menu & LTO roll outs between concept teams, Procurement and our suppliers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES


  • Assess inventory levels at restaurants and at PFG distribution centers.
  • Recommend corrective action to mitigate risk of post-implementation inventory overages/shortages.
  • Develop implementation plans in coordination with local country to achieve agreed upon supply chain savings.
  • Answer specialized questions from the field with quick resolution to minimize impact to operations.
  • Support implementation of SCM projects such as Smallwares, Produce Source-to-Pay, etc.
  • Provide recommendations to senior leaders on potential modification to the BBI supply chain.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key supply chain stakeholders.
  • Assess logistical options to ensure products arrive to the restaurants on-time (i.e., overnights, etc.)
  • Drive step-changes in supply chain model performance and functionality.
  • Other miscellaneous purchasing project support as needed.
  • Develop methodology to track savings generated through supply chain network changes.
  • Ensure restaurant order guides are updated to reflect product additions/deletions to support the implementation.
  • Support modeling needs inside and outside of supply chain organization.
  • Provide disaster relief support (coordinate delivery schedules, refrigerated trucks, food for emergency responders.)


REQUIREMENTS

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Hospitality or related field. Masters preferred.


Experience/Skills:


  • 5-7 years of experience preferred
  • Experience working in restaurant operations a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel, Access (SQL a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain theory and implementation
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of people in the organization and field
  • Requires attention to detail, and strong communications expertise
