          JOB SUMMARY
          Under the supervision of a Guardian Administrator Supervisor, performs work in case management, and manage a caseload of wards of the Pinal County Public Fiduciary. Pre-licensed guardian administrator (guardian aide) works under the supervision of a licensed fiduciary progressively gaining knowledge and expertise, as well as assuming increased responsibilities during the pre-licensing period. Example of Duties

          Work in this classification requires an individual to be able to perform the essential job functions satisfactorily.           TYPICAL CLASSIFICATION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

          • Managing a caseload of individuals who are disabled, elderly, suffering from mental health issues and/or are vulnerable.
          • Develop and maintain support systems to meet client needs by coordinating a variety of available services.
          • Perform visits/participate in client meetings and document information in an accurate and detailed manner.
          • Monitor clients needs and evaluate whether they are receiving an adequate level of care and their concerns are being met.
          • Prepare and maintain client budgets, receives and approves bills and fund requests on behalf of the clients.
          • Monitor clients resources to ensure continued eligibility for various state and federal benefit programs.
          • Provide consents and authorizations as needed for the client.
          • Prepare annual Guardianship reports, and maintain daily documentations of incoming correspondence.
          • Assist with the inventory and recording of client property.
          • After hours on-call rotation

          • Maintain absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, customer records, and restricted County information.
          • Perform other related duties as required.
          POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES:
          • None.


          Minimum Requirements

          MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK:

          • High School diploma or GED equivalent
          • Two (2) years client/customer service in social services; guardianships; finance/budget; and/or working with vulnerable populations, i.e., individuals with disabilities, mental health issues, or the elderly.
          • An Associates Degree or higher in a related field may substitute for the experience requirement.
          • Valid Drivers License with Arizona Drivers License within 30 days of hire.

          Preferred Qualifications:
          • Associates in social work, sociology, or psychology.
          • Experience in working with different populations of individuals, those with disabilities, mental health issues, or the elderly.

          Training, Certifications, and Requirements:
          Applicant must meet the eligibility requirements pursuant to the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA 7-202) and A.R.S. 14-5651. Must obtain Arizona Fiduciary License within 36 months of hire and achieve licensed Guardian Administrator status; and, thereafter, must maintain that licensure in good standing.           PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
          The work is light and requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. The work also requires the ability to climb, crouch, finger, grasp, handle, reach, perform repetitive motion, lift, pull, push, hear, speak, walk, operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment, and demonstrate mental and visual acuity.

          Work is performed in a relatively safe, secure, and stable work environment.
