High School Math Teacher

High School Math Teacher position available in Chickasaw, AL. Duties incl: Instruct HS students in Mathematics through lectures, discussions, demonstrations, & classwork & homework assignments. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, & projects, & communicate those objectives to students. Establish & enforce rules for behavior & procedures for maintaining order among students. Adapt teaching methods & instructional materials to meet students' varying needs & interests. Maintain accurate & complete student records as reqd by state laws & district policies. Assign & grade student classwork & homework. Prep, administer, & grade tests & other assignments to evaluate students' progress in various Math subjects. Enforce all administration policies & rules governing student conduct & academic standards. Guide & counsel students w/ academic problems &/or special academic interests. Prep objectives & outlines for courses of study, following state curriculum reqmts & district guidance. Perform other related tasks as necessary. Reqmts: Must have at least a Bach's deg in Math, or the foreign equiv. Must have at least 2 yrs of prior, F/T exp as a HS Math teacher. Must have or be eligible to obtain an AL Professional Educator Certificate.
