Job Description


Responsible for hosting the guest arrivals for the hotel food service by greeting, and directing hotel guests through the breakfast service in a helpful, friendly, courteous and professional manner to ensure total guest satisfaction, while ensuring that the food and beverage presentation is neat, orderly, and well supplied.
Ensures complete guest satisfaction.

Responsible for promptly greeting guest with a friendly sincere smile, announcing any specials, promoting menu items and answer questions regarding the hotel breakfast service.

Responsible for monitoring the hotel or restaurant dining area to ensure cleanliness, and guest presentation.

Responsible for assisting in the set-up and presentation of the morning hotel breakfast program.

Responsible for overseeing the set-up, presentation, freshness, and temperature control of menu products at all times throughout the morning service.

Responsible for monitoring guest flow through the buffet ensuring the prompt menu item replacements are frequently made to consistently maintain an exceptional presentation.

Responsible for monitoring sanitation and safety issues.

Responsible for directing guests to safety in the event of a fire or other evacuation emergency.

Responsible for assisting in cleaning spilled food items.

Responsible for assisting in clearing tables and cleaning tables for other guests.

Responsible for removing and keeping soiled dishes from guest view.

Responsible for maintaining professional appearance standards with complete uniform requirements and personal hygiene.

Responsible for ensuring that the breakfast set-up is timely and ready to serve according to advertised listings.

Responsible for assisting with the breakdown, storage and cleaning of breakfast set-up.

Responsible for notifying Supervisor of items needed for purchasing i.e. condiments, paper goods, etc.

Responsible for "responding" to guest complaints in a positive, prompt manner while negotiating a compromise and implement a solution.

Maintain a clean and organized work station.

Responsible for performing other duties as requested, such as special guest requests.
