Job Description
Shelbyville Battery Cells Corporation is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for its Shelbyville, KY office.
Job Duties: Responsible for providing comprehensive HR support, driving people initiatives, and ensuring effective management of HR programs to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement. Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and objectives and provide strategic HR guidance to support business goals. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with overall business objectives. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Collaborate with management to identify talent needs, support recruitment efforts, and drive employee development initiatives. Support managers in addressing performance issues and career development. Implement and manage HR programs and policies, ensuring they are compliant with legal requirements and aligned with company objectives. Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions. Provide guidance on changing management strategies and facilitate effective transitions. Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience Requirements: One (1) year of experience in each of the following:
" Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
" Preparing reports, supporting annual reviews, and collaborating with payroll teams
" Supporting global mobility and cross-border employment processes, including work visa coordination, immigration compliance, and relocation support for international transferees
" Assisting in the design and implementation of organizational change initiatives and supporting employee engagement programs
" Utilizing HR metrics and HRIS systems such as Workday to analyze data, prepare reports, and support business decision-making
" Handling complex employee relations issues, including investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution
" Supporting end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding
" Ensuring HR practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
