Community Partnerships of Idaho (CPI) has been providing health and human services for over 25 years in Idaho and is an industry leader committed to advocating for those we serve and our communities. We pride ourselves in delivering high quality services and the training and development of our staff.
In January 2020, CPI was acquired by a like-minded, non-profit, called RISE, Inc. RISE is an innovative human services network originally established in 1987 for the purpose of moving individuals living in institutions into family settings. Combined, CPI and RISE are working together to Create Opportunities for and with People in the states and communities they serve.
THE PROGRAMOur Employment Department provides a variety of Employment Mentoring services to individuals with disabilities, including: developing appropriate job-keeping behaviors, task analysis, development of skills in order to complete specific tasks, the development of natural supports, and the identification and implementation of reasonable accommodations at a job site. Our Employment Mentors act as an advocate for our individuals on the job site.
THE POSITIONOur Employment Mentors provide individualized one-on-one, on-the-job training and support to help meet the needs of their clients. This support helps clients achieve their personal and professional goals, while also helping them maintain long-term employment. The primary goal for this position is to help the client successfully meet their job expectations and become more independent.
Additionally, Employment Mentors will document their client's daily progress and conduct periodic evaluations to ensure their clients are meeting their goals. Evaluation information will be shared with key stakeholders who have a vested interest in the success of CPI's clients. Due to the autonomy associated with this position, you will need to maintain accurate time and mileage logs, as well as accurate billing information.
