Job Description

Develop and execute an effective internal communication strategy. Create engaging, clear, and timely messages using the right tools for the audience. Serve as an ambassador for the companys culture and ensure communications reflect our commitment to Our People and business goals.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Align communications with companys vision, mission, goals, and values.
  • Integrate and position messaging effectively.
  • Research and write clear, concise internal announcements, communication schedules, speeches, annual reports, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with functional experts to plan, design and execute internal communications for a variety of audiences.
  • Produce weekly newsletter and develop intranet content with subject matter experts.
  • Continuously improve communication tools and channels, focusing on restaurant employees nationwide.
  • Review external communication and presentation materials for compliance with company guidelines and standards.
  • Create assets for the Bloomin Brands consumer-facing website and intranet.
  • Produce company-wide meetings including annual All-Hands, Officers, Quarterly, Shareholders, Supplier Summit.
  • Write executive content for internal meetings.
  • Support all company functions with communications.
  • Culture: Foster a restaurant-first mindset, model the companys Principles & Beliefs, support ERG activities, and work with a small, hands-on team.
  • Handle special projects as needed.
  • Provide 24/7 access for business continuity/emergency communications.


RQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, or a related field, required

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years of corporate internal communications experience, required
  • 1+ year in restaurant experience, preferred
  • Advanced research, writing, editing, and presentation skills
  • Effectively navigate cross-functional relationships with executive, staff, and teams
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work on short deadlines
  • Advanced experience with publishing software, including website content
  • Audio and video creative and editing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
