Job Description


The IT Manager is responsible for the day-to-day support of the current and future technologies that are required for hotel operations. This unique position will cover four hotel properties located in Utah, Florida, Illinois and New York. Home base can either be driving distance to Salt Lake City, UT or Fort Lauderdale, FL. Travel to the other locations will be scheduled as necessary.

    - Provides remote and/or onsite Helpdesk support to the properties as assigned by property contacts or Corporate IT.
    - Utilizes centralized Help Desk, management tools, and documentation system
    - Participates in a rotating on-call 24x7 support process to ensure after hours assistance is available
    - Ensures the quality of services delivered to users and inspects the integrity/relevance of system developments.
    - Reviews IT property expenses to ensures fiscal responsibility
    - Participates in budget and forecasting exercises for both IT operational and IT capital expenses
    - Assumes project manager responsibilities for IT capital expenditures related to the managed properties interacting with vendors, Corporate IT, Brand IT, property leadership and ownership.
    - Participates in frequent calls with Corporate IT
    - Performs end-user training to ensure adoption of technology solutions
    - Supports or assumes property system subject master role
    - Performs property IT audits as assigned
    - Manages third party resources as necessary
    - Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
