Job Description

For over 42 years, PB&J has been working with families that have incomes below the federal poverty line and may be challenged by substance abuse, domestic violence, developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. We are currently seeking a Family Interventionists to work directly with children and their families and make a direct and positive difference in their lives and in the community. The Home Visitor would be expected to provide support to parents of children, prenatal to age three in the home or community. Services include informational, educational, developmental, referral and other supports. The Home Visitor provides services to promote parental competence, and successful early childhood and development, by optimizing the relationships between parents and children in their home environment. The families in this program are at risk/or in need of a higher level of intervention. 

 

Education requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Development, Marriage and Family Counseling, Infant Family Studies or in a related field

Experience requirements

1 year experience in family intervention.

Qualifications

Valid NM Drivers License. Clear criminal record.
