Lead Software Developer position sought by Likewize Device Protection LLC. 40 hrs/wk. in Southlake, TX. Collaborate w/ business users & Project Managers to gather, analyze, & refine functional & non-functional reqmts. Work w/ PMs to apply or customize existing technology to meet stakeholder needs. Dvlp High-Level Dsgn (HLD) & Low-Level Dsgn (LLD) docs to align solutions w/ project goals & constraints. Complete all phases of the s/ware dvlpmt life cycle (SDLC), incl analysis, dsgn, dvlpmt, testing, & support. Build serverless applications using .NET Core, Angular, & AWS services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, API Gateway, & SNS). Focus on scalable, modular, & maintainable applications w/ microservices architecture. Implmt intuitive UI/UX principles through Angular front-end dvlpmt & component reusability. Provide high-level estimates for features & stories during sprint planning & refinement sessions. Enable effective planning for future sprints & help teams align w/ broader project goals. Maintain & support multiple projects & deadlines concurrently. Guide team members through complex tech'l challenges by providing sound, scalable solutions. Review code & low-level dsgn docs to ensure quality, maintainability, & alignment w/ best practices. Mentor team members & provide guidance to support the delivery of high-quality features w/in deadlines, while fostering knowl sharing & tech'l growth across the team. Monitor & enhance application performance using AWS CloudWatch & 3rd-party monitoring systems. Fine-tune APIs & d/base queries to improve responsiveness & scalability. Analyze logs & metrics to proactively identify performance bottlenecks or potential failures. Dsgn, implmt, & optimize relational & NoSQL d/bases, incl PostgreSQL & DynamoDB. Enhance d/base performance through query optimization, indexing, & schema dsgn. Ensure data models support application scalability & integrity. Implmt & maintain integrations w/ third-party services, such as: address auto-complete & validation; phone lock/blacklist services; & payment gateway providers. Ensure external services are seamlessly integrated & fail-safe handling is implmtd. Assist in dsgng, maintaining & troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps. Ensure reliable, efficient builds & deployments across dvlpmt, staging, & production environments. Plan & execute deployments in coordination w/ stakeholders & DevOps teams. Monitor applications post-deployment & promptly resolve any issues to maintain stability & performance. Support end-users & other depts by addressing production issues & feature improvements. Identify areas of tech'l debt & work w/ the team to prioritize & resolve them. Refactor code & redesign components to improve system health, maintainability, & performance. Prep & maintain tech'l documentation, incl user guides, for delivered features. Share knowl & mentor team members to foster a collaborative dvlpmt environment, while regularly recording progress & reporting project status to stakeholders. Reqmts include Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related (or U.S. equivalent) & 3 years of experience in the job or as Technical Lead, Technical Architect, Information Systems Analyst or closely related occupation responsible for designing & developing scalable, high-performance web applications, & integrating third-party Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Experience must include conducting research & developing proof of concepts (POC) for validating the feasibility of new features or ideas as well as designing & optimizing database schemas using Azure DevOps, JIRA, Angular, .NET Core, C#, & SQL Server.
