Lead System Engineer (mult Pos'ns) sought by GE Medical Systems Ultrasound & Primary Care Diagnostics LLC in Wauwatosa, WI. Resp for reqs dev, traceability & flow down, arch/system design & analysis, FMEA, dev/executing System Verification & Validation test procedures, & providing support to manuf. & field issues. Participate in softw implementation for innovative future ultrasound projects using MATLAB & C++. Provide domain expertise to serve as the main integrator between the hardw & softw functions to deliver the best high quality ultrasound product. Pos'n reqs Master's deg or forgn deg equiv in Ultrasound, Physics, Optics, Electronic Eng, Biomedical Eng, or rel field, & 2 years of rel exp in ultrasound. In the alt, employer will accept a PhD, or forgn deg equiv, in Ultrasound, Physics, Optics, Electronic Eng, Biomedical Eng, or rel field. Pos'n also reqs: some exp in Ultrasound Physics at a graduate level; some exp in Signal Processing at a graduate level; & some exp in MATLAB & C++, including, but not be limited to, creating standalone code in both MATLAB & C++ & navigating & debugging large code sets in both languages.
