POSITION SUMMARY

The Legal Coordinator, Licensing provides support to restaurant field management by completing restaurant license renewals, managing officer changes, and working with the restaurant Partners, multi-unit leaders (JVPs), and second level multi-unit leaders (RVP & MVPs) to obtain necessary information required for active licenses. The Legal Coordinator, Licensing engages with restaurant field leadership and is highly responsive if violations are discovered. The Legal Coordinator, Licensing tracks and monitors all licenses and maintains information in a specialized Licensing database.


This role is an hourly, temporary position slated to end up to 90 days from hire. Conversion to permanent is a possibility, but cannot be guaranteed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Completes license renewal applications, both online and in paper form.
  • Works with restaurant field management, multi-unit field leaders, restaurant operations and other internal departments to obtain information and documentation required for license renewals.
  • Sends outgoing license renewal paperwork to state and local government agencies and restaurant operations in a timely manner.
  • Updates and maintains license database with current license and renewal information.
  • Reconciles company credit card accounts for licensing spending.
  • Works with accounts payable to secure fees for license renewal applications.
  • Receives, sorts, and distributes incoming mail related to licenses.
  • Maintains the confidential nature of information related to this role and responsibility.
  • Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • High School diploma, required
  • Bachelors degree preferred


Experience/Skills:

  • 3+ years of licensing experience, preferred
  • Experience working in restaurant operations is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
