Maintenance / Mechanical Engineer

Maintenance/Mechanical Engineer sought by Nucor Steel Bradenburg for the Brandenburg location. Candidate must have Bach's in Mechanical Engg & 5 yrs of exp performing preventive, predictive, & corrective maintenance of mechanical failures for steel rolling mill eqpmt. Must have exp in: Supporting the installation, commissioning, testing, & maintenance of new & existing mechanical eqpmt throughout a melt shop & rolling mill, incl Raw Material Handling, Walking Beam Furnaces, Roughing Mill, Steckel Mill, & Levelers; Conducting root cause failure analysis on mechanical breakdowns using Utilize IBA Analyzer; Integrating maintenance outages, contractor schedules, & internal work orders into a unified project timeline using Microsoft Project Manager; Creating 3D models of components, assemblies, & validating mechanical modifications in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD s/ware; & Utilizing Sharepoint & Oracle EAM to maintain accurate records of eqpmt master data, maintenance activities, & mechanical inspections.
