Job Description
Facilities Development and Management, Administrative Services, seeks a Manager, Data Analysis who, under administrative direction, will provide overall leadership, management and direction for the data management team. Manage, plan, support and prepare data analysis and reporting for business decision-making, strategic planning, and process improvement using various methods and techniques.
You must be able to work independently under general direction to support these functions, utilizing sound judgment, tact and discretion while possessing keen attention to detail, ensuring integrity, and exhibiting a high degree of adaptability in accomplishing the position's essential duties such as those indicated below.

Essential Duties
• Perform complex and advanced research analysis techniques, to understand current performance, analyze trends, and to make recommendations for future project performances.
• Develop measurements and metrics for data analysis to be used for business decision-making, planning, and process improvement.
• Provide oversight of staff including coordination of activities, managing resource allocation, and coaching staff to build skills in interpreting and reporting data analysis results to ensure adherence with stated outcome, timeframes and standards.
• Securely collects, cleanses, standardize, transforms and stores data from various sources ensuring data integrity.
• Use predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be analyzed from internal and external sources.
• Responsible for regularly auditing data input; audits may involve studying number, organization practices and customer feedback.
• Prepare or coordinates preparation of reports; analyzes and interprets statistics, financial data, and management planning data for predicting resource needs and developing long range plans.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related administrative/data analysis experience which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience, OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
Experience in:
• Report Builder or other Report Writer Software
Demonstrated knowledge of:
• MS Office (Access, Word, Excel, Outlook) Slack, ZOOM, Adobe
Evidence of
• Effective communication skills
Working Environment
Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended period of standing/sitting for varying lengths of time and travel moderate distances to perform work. Must have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and autonomously with a dynamic team of professionals. Exercises judgement within generally designed practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals. Bend, reach, lift and pull up to 25 pounds. Communicate to perform essential functions of the job. Work both independently or within a complex structured team.

This position is located at the University Services Building, 1551 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ (on Rural Road south of Apache Blvd).
This position requires that you must possess or able to obtain, a valid Arizona driver's license (minimum of Class D) upon employment and maintain throughout employment. Post-offer of employment, selected candidate must possess an acceptable driving record which is 5 or fewer points in the most recent 39 month period from date of hire.
