Job Description

The manager of Development Analytics will oversee a team of development analysts with the prime responsibility of managing and reviewing all sales forecasts for new store locations, relocations and developing market plans targeting key areas in markets for new store growth for all BBI brands. This role provides insights and recommendations which are fact based and supported by data and analytics.

In order to support this primary responsibility, this role will also manage the initial creation, development, maintenance, and integration of maps and reports of demographics, location performance data, sales trade areas, delivery trade areas, mass mobile data and competitive data for all BBI brands and markets. This data is the backbone for all key decisions regarding BBI's real estate portfolio (openings, closures, relocations, remodels, lease renewals), test and control measures, benchmark analysis, competitive insights and marketing support. This role will be an expert with Alteryx, the data mining software used by this department to perform data analytics, maintenance and reporting.

This role will also be working with cross functional teams like finance, marketing, and operations, to provide guidance on current and future project tracking, reporting, updates, workflow/process reporting, lookback analysis, and changes from site approvals to openings which could impact sales and capital costs overrun.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, annual review and updating sales forecast models
  • Annually updated development market plans for each concept
  • Manage team of analysts, reviewing and assigning sales forecast
  • Maintenance and reporting of development pipeline data
  • Updating and maintaining store level sales database
  • Managing online GIS visualization and reporting tool
  • Perform Ad Hoc requests from multiple departments across company
  • Provide fact-based insights to executive team members
  • Mass Mobile data usage for insights and targeted marketing

Required Minimum Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Analytics or equivalent
  • 5 years market planning and new store sales forecasting experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Alteryx
  • Experience working on and managing cross departmental projects
  • Experience with GIS software (ArcGIS, MapInfo,QGIS)
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience and comfort interacting with executive leadership

The expected pay range is $95,000-$110,000 depending on location and experience.
