CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Chantilly, VA: Manager, Digital Engineering to design and develop digital engineering solutions for software applications and platforms. Duties include: develop the technical architecture for assigned value stream to ensure successful product delivery and compatibility of system components; manage the engineering roadmap for assigned products, including release of new features and updates with minimal disruption; work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into architecture plans for innovative digital solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; evaluate product requirements, product vision, technical feasibility, and risks, identify system components required to meet user needs; prepare technical design documentation including workflow, integration strategy, and technical blueprint; evaluate new technologies and lead Proof-Of-Concepts (POCs); provide technical guidance on application development, systems architecture, cloud infrastructures, and software development best practices; work with teams to ensure products meet performance, availability, scalability, and security requirements; and mentor junior team members.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following: XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; REST, SOAP, or Web Service APIs; MS-SQL, PL/SQL, SSIS or DTS; Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and multi-threaded applications; Writing automated unit test cases; Software development lifecycle (Agile or waterfall); and Source control tools including TFS, GIT or SVN.
