Manual Machinist - 2nd Shift

Were hiring a 2nd shift Manual Machinist for our Southeast Houston client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Job Title: Manual Machinist
• Location: Southeast Houston
• Pay: $30-$38/hr.
• Hours: 4pm-3:30am
• Duration: temp-to-hire
• Description of Duties: Operate various manual lathes, milling machines and grinders to fabricate and modify parts for pump systems; Work from blueprints, sketches, planning sheets, and verbal instructions.
• Requirements: Must have 5+ years' machining experience with pumps; Must have experience with Lathes, VTL's, Milling machines, and Horizontal Boring Mills; Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; Must be able to set up, run, and adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to machine parts per documentation; Must be able to accurately perform statistical process control (SCP) per division requirements; Must have working knowledge of shop math, and have the ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gages.
