Job Description

Zimmerman Advertising LLC is seeking a Marketing Scientist for its Fort Lauderdale, FL office.

Job Duties Act as liaison between Strategic Marketing Intelligence Group and Media Division. Understand the agency's marketing constraints across all channels of engagement to understand how effective their offline and digital channels are. Make recommendations on how to increase marketing efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI as well as where and when to advertise across the diverse channel base. Work as the bridge between media, creative, strategy and consulting to ensure that the quality of the data and models are of the highest standard. Delivering insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders on how to improve their marketing performance and increase customer engagement. Provide strategic thinking, and solution development across media strategy and ad technology. Ensure the design and implementation of digital marketing strategies (including media plans and pro formats) and technologies that deliver on client's business and functional goals. Assess and evaluate the current offerings within the marketing technology landscape, providing POVs on the current state of the marketing place. Engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategy, articulate solution options, evaluate tradeoffs and influence key decisions. Conduct statistical analysis of digital media campaign delivery and performance using data sourced from a number of platforms, such as: Google Analytics, Google Campaign Manager 360, Google Ads, Yahoo DSP, Facebook Ads, Snapchat Ads, Pinterest Ads. Use data analysis, mining, and migration techniques for enhanced targeting, audience segmentation, clustering, profiling, and regression analysis. Develop and maintain internal automated reporting tools, documents, scoring systems, and dashboards for on-going and post-campaign reporting. Provide client-facing/non-technical recommendations and insights, both in a written and verbal manner, that provide understandable and actionable optimizations. Work with Digital Media, Strategic Intelligence and Account Services teams to develop measurement plans to deliver on campaign and client objectives. 


Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, BI, MIS, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology Management or related field.


Experience Requirements: Must have 4 years of experience in the following: 


• Executing A/B tests, optimizing campaigns, and translating data into insights;

• SQL and media analytics and tracking platforms;

• Supporting Media programs specifically;

• Familiarity with metrics and measurement strategies across Brand and DR goals and online and offline channels;

• Python, BI reporting (i.e., Chart.io, Looker, Tableau) and databases (dimensional and relational), including data ingestion and transformation; ad technology (ad servers, DMPs, DSPs, cross device measurement);

• Trafficking and optimizing programmatic media buys, and optimizing audiences; and

• Marketing tech stack and digital data technologies (DMPs, GA, pixel tracking).
