The Manager, Retail Communications - Brand Public Relations will be a member of the Retail Communications team focusing on strengthening and advancing our earned and owned media strategies to promote and support our marketing and merchandising initiatives.

Partnering with key business leaders throughout CVS Health, specifically, Customer Success & Growth, as well as professionals across Enterprise Communications, Marketing, Government Affairs and Community Affairs, the Manager will use their communications and brand PR experience to identify and execute communications strategies to highlight and promote our customer experience, marketing campaigns and products. This role will field media inquiries focused on the front store and mitigate potential communication gaps and risks and respond to the media.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,300
Maximum: 126,600

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Required Qualifications
* Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with colleagues in Customer Success & Growth, Enterprise Communications as well as across the enterprise, is critical, as is your communications and Brand PR acumen. Experience pitching and responding to external media as well as working knowledge of social media platforms is required.
* 5-8 years of internal and external communications experience in the healthcare industry and/or retail, including multiple communications disciplines (e.g., proactive and reactive media/public relations, social media, internal/executive communications, communications campaigns).
* Excellent written and verbal communications and writing, editing and presentation skills.
* High degree of professionalism and experience collaborating with and influencing a variety of executives and senior leaders.
* Strategic and analytic thinker with superior problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
* Strong performance accountability with demonstrated ability to follow through on commitments, effectively execute and meet deadlines in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
* Ability to handle high-level confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
* Committed to quality, while being able to prioritize and excel in a dynamic and evolving leading-edge organization.
* Willingness to travel, as needed, in support of business need and team collaboration. Up to 20%.
* Proficiency with MS Office suite; primarily Word, Outlook and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communications strategies, plans and campaigns.
* Commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and belonging; demonstrated experience in building relationships, integrating strategies, and connecting the dots.

Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field.
