Boss Truck Shops is looking for a motivated OnSITE mobile maintenance technician to operate our state of the art mobile shop.

Whether you are a newer technician looking for a rewarding challenge or a seasoned veteran looking for a position with more autonomy, Boss Truck Shops has what you are looking for. The OnSITE program offers entry and advanced level positions and training to help you advance from one level to the next.


Pay range: Up to $28.00/ per hour DEQ plus $8.00/billed hour commission + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. Details of bonus: $1,000 payable per quarter and $2,000 at 1 year or the 4th quarter. Must be employed at time of payout.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs PMs and oil changes.
  • Greases trucks and trailers.
  • Performs tire services.
  • Conducts electrical, brake, wheel end/seal, and HVAC services.
  • Performs all minor repairs.
  • Perform CSA/DOT inspections according to outlined regulations.
  • Ensures the mobile maintenance vehicle is clean, uncluttered, and stocked at all times.
  • Ensure all service equipment (jacks, tools, trucks, etc.) are in proper working order, clean, and repaired when needed.
  • Sells tires and parts, ensuring profit margins are maintained and trade guidelines are followed.
  • Responsible for all parts, tires, etc., being put away in proper places.
  • Completes work orders by providing the necessary customer information, labor performed, parts used, and any other information for warranty purposes providing photos when necessary.
  • Ensures total customer satisfaction and the integrity of Boss Truck Shops.
  • Practices all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Adheres to all Safety Policies.
  • Stays current on LMS training.
  • Provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

 

Additional Job Duties:

  • Assists in other duties, as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Education and/or Experience Requirements (include certs or licenses needed):

  • Must have at least 1-year diesel tech experience.
  • Must be Tire Service Certified by TIA.
  • Must have DOT Medical Card.
  • Successful completion of the Boss Truck Shops Tech I training program.
  • Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration.
  • Ability to attend HVAC, Electrical and DOT training.
  • Ability to get ASE, DOT, TIA and other certifications.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and be insurable to drive.
  • Able to work weekends, holidays, and nights as needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation and phone.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. – IF APPLICABLE
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
