FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt |
POSITION OBJECTIVE: This is the base-level position of the network support team. Incumbents act as a technical resource in functional area and support a variety of information systems, WAN/LAN infrastructure and server OS and hardware maintenance and support. Incumbents also are responsible for data backup, District level support for creating and administrating OS and Software deployment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: (positions in this class typically require): Vocational training in computer science, and four years of IT support and/or repair experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. | |
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: (positions in this class typically require): Licensing Requirements: Valid Arizona Drivers License; Network+ Certification preferred; or equivalent experience and/or knowledge. Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) preferred; or equivalent experience and/or knowledge. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred; or equivalent experience and/or knowledge.

KNOWLEDGE: (position requirements at entry): Knowledge of: Advanced proficiency in computer image development and deployment Operating systems; Software, hardware, and networking principles; Customer service principles; Computer technology; Mathematical concepts; Electronics; Network structures; Database systems; MS SCCM training or experience Mobile Device management experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Light Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
