NPI & Hardware Operations Planner

NPI & Hardware Operations Planner (Palm Bay, FL) - Full Time. Resp. for coord. and execution of ops., supply chain planning, and production readiness for high-tech hardware products from design concept and prototyping through pilot runs and initial mfg. Duties incl. coord. New Product Introduction (NPI) ops.; translating product concepts and engineering designs into practical build plans; developing and maintaining build schedules; creating and maintaining Bills of Materials and mfg. routings in ERP/MRP systems; participating in DFM/DFA reviews; coord. readiness activities with Mfg., Quality, Procurement, and Logistics; defining material and planning parameters; supporting supplier onboarding for prototyping and low- to mid-volume mfg.; monitoring NPI ops. KPIs; maintaining SOPs and checklists; coord. prototype lab/shop planning; supporting customer and technical review meetings; assisting with RCCA efforts; collaborating with Quality and Engineering on inspection plans; supporting make-versus-buy and mfg. strategy analyses; improving NPI-related systems and tools; and preparing ops. status summaries for senior staff. Bachelor's degree in Business Admin., Marketing, Supply Chain Mgmt., Operations Mgmt., Industrial Engineering, or related field, plus 24 mos. of exp. as a Manufacturing Purchasing Specialist, Supply Chain Analyst, Materials Planner, or related occupation. Must have exp. with ERP/MRP systems in a mfg. or hardware product environment; supporting prototyping, New Product Introduction (NPI), or low-volume/high-mix mfg.; and working with mechanical and/or electronic components and assemblies.
