Job Description
Interested in getting your start in real estate but need a place to get experience? Are you ready to learn but is the feast and famine cycle of a commissioned sales position a bad fit?
This is an excellent starting position for someone wanting to get their foot in the door of real estate, learning the basics of running a real estate office, without the insane hours, cold call sales, and insecurity that comes with jumping straight into sales. You'll have normal work hours in a professional office and with an hourly wage you can count on.
Real Property Management has the perfect role for you as an Office Coordinator/Customer Service. You will be a new customer's primary point of contact as they join us. For the homeowner new to property management, you help make the journey smooth, organized, and low stress. Everyone knows moving isn't fun, and for the for the new tenants you are there to ensure we do everything to make their first days in their new home easy.

Who is Real Property Management?
We are a residential rental & homeowner association management company providing full-service management in the State of Alaska and Washington. We manage thousands of properties from small apartment buildings to luxury homes and specialize in taking the stress out of becoming a real estate investor/homeowner by being proactive.
Service Support:
- Serving as a point of first contact for those who come to the office
- Proactively and effectively communicate with processes and how to get requests accomplished.
- Engage owners and residents about the use of online portals and written communication via email. Teaching how to use portals and other various RPM services.
- Proactively educate and have clear communication with tenants and owners on next step processes to hold all parties accountable to appropriate actions and improve satisfaction.
- Triggers other departments to as the account hits different stages.
- Gather information from employees, owners, and residents to complete a file as much as reasonably possible.
- Recommend change orders to service requests to incorporate scheduled or planned or proactive maintenance to maintain the value of homes.
- Processes documents and coordinates with the property manager
- Help with projects in doing audits and updates with files.
- Seek feedback by asking for surveys and reviews from customers in transitions.
Office Support
- Errands and mail delivery, filing documents accurately and for easy reference in Resident and Owner files, and delegate to appropriate party to take appropriate actions with the mail.
- Assist in having the funds deposited with the bank daily.
- Routing incoming calls and emails to departments as needed and help ensure customer receives a reply.
- Processing incoming/outgoing mail.
- Receiving payments courteously and accurately at the front desk, reviewing Resident notes at the time of payment to address any open items timely.
- Organize, test, and audit property access materials in all stages of a property cycle.
- Shredding sensitive and proprietary documents timely and confidential.
- Filing documents accurately and for easy reference in Resident and Owner files.
- Delivering documents and running errands as needed.
- Opening and closing the office in accordance with established procedures.

- Experience in the field of Property Management & Real Estate is a plus but not required.
Job Requirements for the Position
These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.
- You must have a working knowledge of various computer software's.
- You must have prior experience in a customer-facing role.
- You must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week (with some flexibility).
Benefits & Pay
Compensation for the position is a rate of $35,000 to $45,000 + $10,000-$20,000 in benefits - depending on qualifications.
