Position Summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an outstanding individual to join our Musculoskeletal Imaging section. Discover what makes this remarkable academic medical center one of the best places to work in the Southwest!

In-person, hybrid, and remote options all available, as well as academic and staff (100% clinical) positions.

This position also offers the opportunity to apply for the MSK Section Chief.

Clinical responsibilities encompass primary diagnostic and consultative service in Musculoskeletal Radiology for exams performed at multiple locations. Patient care includes full-spectrum musculoskeletal radiology practice with a diverse patient population to include sports, oncology, rheumatology, emergency cases and multidisciplinary conferences. Research opportunities include diverse and growing translational imaging and image processing facilities and are supported by dedicated research and publications staff. In-person, hybrid, and remote opportunities available

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements for this position are as follows:

MD, DO, or equivalent

Able to obtain state licensure in the state of New Mexico

MSK fellowship, completed by contract start date, or comparable experience

ABR board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by contract start date

Preferred Qualifications are as follows:

Training or work experience in MSK ultrasound

Desire to work in an academic radiology practice with residents and fellows
