$15.20/hr - $22.59/hr based on Collective Bargaining Agreement with 1199 SEIU
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Transport Supervisor, assists with ensuring that all Transporters demonstrate competence in the use of transport patient care equipment and performing all transport procedures by coaching and mentoring. The Lead Transporter is responsible for the following in the absence of the Supervisor: staff coverage, operational procedures, supply ordering, and providing new employee orientation to patient transportation.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equiv.
Experience: Previous hospital experience preferred
Certification / Licensure: BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
