Position Description

The City of Tolleson is seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Human Services Technician. The Human Services Technician transports patrons to and from their homes to Senior Center and/or medical appointments; delivers meals to program patrons; cleans and fuels vehicle; assists with vehicle maintenance; ensures vehicle receives proper service; report any bus malfunctions or needed reports; maintains vehicles including fueling, cleaning, general maintenance, coordinate routine servicing and the repair of assigned vehicles; maintains an accurate accounting of program participants on trips, excursions and meal delivery; complies with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner, coordinates pick-ups/drop-offs for seniors attending programs; and, performs related work as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of progressively responsible experience; or an equivalent combination of directly related education and experience. Bilingual Spanish speaking required. Arizona Driver's License, Fingerprint clearance card, CPR/First Aid Certificate, and Central Registry required.

Job Information

Closing Date: Open until filled Hiring Salary: $19.32-$24.00 Hourly D.O.E.

Full Salary Range for Position: $19.32 - $27.05 Hourly.
