Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, Perioperative Services, the Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit is responsible for the provision of safe and effective care of the post anesthesia patient.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse.
B. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
C. Previous clinical nursing experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit environment desired.
D. Current BLS.
E. ACLS within 90 days of hire.
