Preschool Director (Sweetwater, FL) F/T. Dvlp & implmt educational prgms that align w/ state & national stds. Confer w/ parents & staff to discuss educational activities, policies, & students' behavioral or learning problems. Create an age-appropriate curriculum & learning activities. Ensure a safe & nurturing envrmt for children. Recruit, hire, & train qualified teaching staff. Conduct regular evaluations & provide feedback to teachers. Dvlp & manage the preschool budget. Monitor expenses & ensure fin'l sustainability. Seek funding opportunities & manage fin'l resources efficiently. Dvlp & implmt enrollment procedures. Communicate w/ parents regarding admissions, tuition, & other rltd matters. Maintain accurate enrollment records. Maintain licensing reqmts & stds. Coord inspections & address any compliance issues. Organize & participate in parent-teacher conferences & events. Oversee the maintenance & cleanliness of the preschool facility. Ensure a safe & secure envrmt for children & staff. Manage eqpmt & resources efficiently. Stay informed about current trends & best practices in early childhood education. Provide opportunities for prof'l dvlpmt for teaching staff. Keep parents informed about their child's progress & the preschool's activities. Dvlp & implmt emergency procedures. Conduct regular drills to ensure staff & children are prepared for emergencies. Maintain accurate & up-to-date records, incl attendance, health records, & educational assessments. $73,500/yr. A Bachelor's Deg in Education, Bus. Admin, Law, Psychology or closely rltd plus 24 mos of exp as School Director, Asst School Director, Lead Teacher, School Administrator or closely rltd.
