Position Function Summary:
This position is responsible for the overall health, safety, nurturing and quality of care and education for preschool children; 3-5 years of age enrolled in the program. Will plan, prepare, and develop classroom curriculum; and interact with children in activities to promote social, physical, and cognitive growth appropriate to the children's developmental stages. All activities and interactions will be in conformance with all federal, state and local regulations, standards, policies, procedures and best practices.

Education and Experience:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA) or New Mexico Child Development Certificate.
- Three (3) year of experience in an early childhood program serving preschool children.
