Job Description

Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Product Designer for its Seattle, Washington office.


Job Duties: Responsible for designing digital experiences for web and mobile software applications. Propose, ship design projects, and test ideas that improve customer experiences. Participate in design activities such as journey mapping, prototyping, and user testing. Present product design work and regularly engage with partners for feedback. Participate in user research and discovery activities. Develop ideas that address customer and business problems and incorporate customer needs throughout the design process. Design digital experiences using human-centered design principles. Utilize software design and prototyping tools. Telecommuting is permitted. 10% national travel required.


Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Human-Centered Computing, or a related field


Experience Requirements: Three (3) years of experience in each of the following:


" Conducting UX audits of current state including platforms, interfaces, and touchpoints

" Actively communicating and advocating customer needs throughout the design process

" Working with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, and marketing

" Designing in accordance with human factors including research related to human-computer interaction, ranging from journey mapping, low fidelity designs, high fidelity designs, and prototyping

" Creating a wide range of visual design options, resulting in high-quality visual assets for use in production
