Facilities Development and Management, Capital Programs Management Group, seeks a Program Manager for research support of information and preparation of Arizona Board of Regents and legislative mandated approvals for major capital project, ASU internal project approvals, project reports and development and documentation of department processes.

This position will provide research support for the gathering of information and preparation of Arizona Board of Regents and legislative mandated approvals for major capital projects, the Annual Capital Plan, and the Capital Improvement Plan in addition to related PowerPoint presentations. Assist in the strategic planning program for FDM projects. Write articles for publications related to Capital projects including articles, reports, and policies and procedures. Update of Capital Programs Management University policy manual. Prepare departmental desktop manuals and participate in updates to the Project Delivery Manual. Preparation and participation in departmental training. Create and update departmental forms. Manage Capital Programs Management Group/Office of the University Architect Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). Provide department support on the use of technology tools (training/troubleshooting, particularly Adobe Sign). Assemble and/or compile a variety of data from office records or individuals from various University departments for incorporation into reports. Various reports and presentations require the use of Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Creative Suite. Reporting will require the use of analytic skills, fact-checking, and attention to detail often with tight deadlines. Skilled in both written and verbal communication is a must in a collaborative team environment. Clearly communicate to perform essential functions of the job.
DAYS AND SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 8:00AM-5:00PM
Bachelor's degree in a related field AND five years administrative/coordination experience; OR, Master's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND three years administrative/coordination experience; OR Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
· Experience preparing articles for media publication
· Experience using Adobe Pro, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
· Ability to communicate complex information in a simple way
Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work. Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.

This position is located at the University Services Building, 1551 S. Rural Road, Tempe, AZ (on Rural Road south of Apache Blvd).
This position is dependent on the continuation of funding from a specific source other than general operating funds. As such, this appointment may terminate when the funding is no longer available.
